My name is Josh Sullivan and I am a church planting missionary to the country of South Africa.
I was saved one month before my sixth birthday at vacation bible school. I realized that my good couldn't get me into heaven and i trusted in Christ's sacrifice for my salvation.
After my high school graduation in 2009 there was a period of time where I got out of church and lived a life for myself instead of a life for Christ.
Later that same year, God got my attention in several different ways. I began to see that God had more for my life than I could imagine.
On January 1, 2010 I accepted Gods call to preach. Unlike most men, the vision of pastoring a church was not something God placed on my heart. Unsure where God would have me, I knew from the beginning that God would have me in missions.
Later that same year I married my wife Meagan. We have a 3 year old daughter named Mallorie, and our son Avett is due in early August.
I began Bible College at Fellowship Baptist Bible Institute, (a satellite program of Macedona Bible College in North Carolina) in 2011 and look to graduate in early 2015. I have been on staff at Fellowship Baptist Church since February of 2012, and have been training under my Pastor, Tom Hatley.
In 2013, I accepted the call to go the mission field in South Africa. We arrived in South Africa in November 2018. We are looking to finish language school soon and plant a church to the Xhosa speaking people.
Nothing that man can do is good, but with Christ at the helm man can be used to bring Glory to his name.
Our Recomendations

Tom Hatley
It is my pleasure to recommend The Sullivans to South Africa. I have been privileged to be Josh and Meagan's pastor since their childhood. Both have a love for Christ and have a tremendous desire to share the gospel with the Xhosa people of South Africa. Josh has completed four years of classroom work in our Bible Institute, which is a satellite school of Macedonia Baptist College in Midland, North Carolina. I personally mentored Josh and he has served with me as a staff member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Josh's responsibilities included: teen ministry, bus ministry, and teaching in our Christian School. Meagan also has been heavily involved in various ministries. Fellowship Baptist has invested a lot in this precious family and as their sending church, we are 100% behind them. I pray you will consider partnering with them. They would be a definite asset to your missions program. If you have any questions, in regards to The Sullivans, please call me on my personal phone. 865-679-2824. Sincerely, Pastor Tom Hatley 1 Corinthians 9:16

It is my pleasure to recommend the Sullivan family as missionaries to South Africa. I have had the pleasure of knowing Josh and Meagan for over fifteen years. They grew up in my youth group at Fellowship Baptist and were always actively involved in the ministries of the church. As adults, I have watched grow in faith and family with a strong zeal for the Lord. Josh and Meagan both display the strong work ethic and flexibility it takes to be great missionaries. Their organization and biblical mindset will be strong assets to the Sullivan’s as well. I wholeheartedly support the work the Sullivan’s are doing and would recommend them to your church. For any further information, feel free to contact me at 423-839-3835. Sincerely, Pastor Jeff Irwin – Eastwood Baptist Church.
