Praise God

3/24/2017

Comments

Many times missionaries will write about needs and struggles they may be having but we are happy to report a praise. We want to thank God for his many blessings.

Before God called us to the mission field, I was working a secular Job and Meagan had dropped out of school to get married and become a mother. So after some odd jobs here and there by my wife, we decided it would be best for her to go to cosmetology school and become a beautician. She was very successful in school and graduated with a high grade and she has been "doing hair" since.

Ever since then we have had a school loan that we have been paying on. Many people who have been to school understands how this is a big debt. But, I am very happy to report that we have fully paid off all of those debts and we are now 100% debt free! This is very exciting for us as we get ready for the mission field. It will be a huge burden off our shoulders to be on the field with no debt at all.

What makes it so special for me is that we have not used 1$ of church support or offerings to do this. Meagan has paid most of it by herself by cleaning houses ad doing hair. She has worked so hard to pay this off and I am so proud of her.

Thank you to all of those who have continued to pray for us and God Bless you all!

March Prayer Letter

March Prayer Letter

1 Peter 1:13 “Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;”

As we continue deputation, it can be easy to lose focus as we move from pastor to pastor and church to church. But, we cannot forget the 52 million people in South Africa who are in desperate need of the Gospel. Millions of souls looking for something in their life. Jesus Christ is the author and finisher of our faith and we must get to SA as soon as we can to tell others about the good news of the Gospel.

As we move into spring we want to say thank you to all of those who pray and support our work. February is considered the month of “love” so thank you to those who have shown us love. Thank you to those we haven’t seen in a year who still contact us and read our letters. Gods people are so good to us and we are thankful.

We only need 7 churches to partner with us to reach 50% of our support. Would you consider partnering with our church? Plus, as we look forward to being in South Africa in 2018 we have had a couple of donations for our set-up fund. We now have 25% of our setup fund and we have a goal to be at 50% by June 1.
Please pray for –
  • Fill our calendar
  • To reach 50% of our support by April 1
  • Decision on new health insurance plan
  • Set up fund

February in Review
