January Prayer Letter

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,

God has been so good to us this year. His blessings flow like rain on our family. We are ending this year with many praises to God. We have spent half of this year training in South Africa and we are ready for full time deputation.

We are now full time deputation missionaries. We have spent the last 7 months training in South Africa and 1 of those months on part time deputation. During that time, we were able to book meetings for 2016 and we are at 14%.

Please pray for –
  • Meetings to be booked
  • Support to be raised
  • Meagan’s pregnancy (Baby due in March)
  • Mark Coffee and Jeremy Hall and Project South Africa
  • Full time deputation in January

We have been in many different churches in December and God has used us in different ways. Our home church, Fellowship Baptist Church in Maryville, Tn, has been such a blessing to us. Our Pastor, Tom Hatley, has continued to give us training and direction. We are so blessed to have a Godly Church and Pastor.

December Prayer Letter

We have made it back to the States!

As we think back on the past 6 months, we are so grateful. We are thankful for Mark and Amy Coffey, Jeremy and Rebekah Hall, and Kevin and Corli Hall for their investment in our lives. They did everything they could to help us, and we learned so much from their experience. We made many friends and served alongside faithful Christians. We got to experience everyday life on the mission field that God has called us to, and that is such a privilege. Now, when we return to South Africa, we have a leg up on the area, the people, and the language. We are so blessed! Our internship is something we will forever thank God for.

Upon returning, we had so much fun surprising our friends and family with a secret we’ve kept hidden for quite a while. We are expecting our third child the first week of March! We are very excited. Since we have been back God has proved himself over and over. He has provided in ways we never thought possible. Our home church has been so great to us and we are so thankful for their love and support. We have been here for just over a week, and after all the unpacking and getting settled, we are ready to get back into the swing of things.

It is such a blessing to be with family and friends especially around the holidays, but the city of Port Elizabeth and the Xhosa people weigh heavily on our minds. We know how big of a job we are facing, and we are anxious to get back and continue our ministry as soon as possible. We are already on the deputation trail and we’re excited to be booking meetings every day.  Would you consider having us in your church?

Please pray for:

  • Jeremy Hall and Soweto Baptist Church plant
  • Meetings to be booked
  • New Support
  • For us to get back to the field ASAP
  • Meagans pregnancy. (Baby due in March)
